Strawberry daiquiris are the perfect summer cocktail! We went strawberry picking recently and decided to attempt to make some of our own. Here's the recipe we used!
You Will Need: Serves 4
- 500g Hulled strawberries
- 200g Ice
- 100ml of white rum
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Strawberries to garnish
Method:
- Put the strawberries into a blender and whiz until smooth.
- Pour the blended strawberries through a sieve to remove the seeds, then tip the puree into the blender once again.
- Add the ice, rum and lime juice. Blend until combined and then taste to see if you need to add little sugar to sweeten (we used about a dessert spoon).
- Divide the mixture between 4 cocktail glasses and garnish each drink with a strawberry.
- Serve immediately whilst cold.
- Enjoy!
