Hot Smoked Salmon Canapés

These hot smoked salmon canapés are SO moreish, and they go perfectly with a glass or two of fizz! They only take about 10 minutes to put together so you can have more time to sit back and relax.


You Will Need: (Makes enough for around 4-6 People)

- 1 small baguette, sliced

- Drizzle of olive oil

- 200g Hot smoked salmon

- 3 large tablespoons of creme fraiche

- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh dill

- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh chives

- Zest of 2 lemons

- Juice of 1.5 Lemons

- Salt and plenty of black pepper

- 1 Tablespoon horseradish (optional)


Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180oc.

  2. Slice baguette into thin rounds and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake for around 4 minutes then flip them over and bake for a further 3 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.

  3. In a bowl mix together the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Check the mixture for seasoning then spoon a generous amount over each baguette round and garnish will a little dill.

  5. Serve with plenty of fizz!
