This is such a great starter idea! It's delicious and really quick to make. Serve with crusty bread and butter to dip into the sauce!
You Will Need:
- Knob of butter and drizzle of olive oil
- 4 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 Red chilli, finely chopped
- 1 Heaped teaspoon of paprika
- Handful of samphire (I found in the herb aisle of the supermarket!)
- Packet of prawns (preferably skin on)
- Juice of a lemon
- Splash of water
- Pinch of salt
- Chopped fresh parsley
- Ciabatta to serve
Method:
- Heat olive oil and butter until melted.
- On a medium heat, fry the garlic, chilli and paprika for 2 minutes until soft.
- Add in the samphire and prawns and cook for 3 minutes, until the prawns turn pink.
- Add a splash of water and squeeze in the juice of the lemon and pinch of salt.
- stir well, then turn off the heat and add the parsley.
- Serve with fresh crusty bread to dip into the sauce, (and a glass of white wine!)
